mohuman is driving a digital inclusion movement empowering communities through technology to change lives one connection at a time. Our mission is to enable every person and every community realize their full potential.

Founded in 2018 by Dr. Nishal Mohan, mohuman is a nonprofit organization helping individuals, families, and communities in urban and rural areas access internet digital services to empower communities through connection and technology.

People helping people. We support personalized training to enable community workforces to support their people and their online needs, the way they need it.

Personalized support. We create and deliver state of the art models and tools to help people get up to speed and online for work, legal and financial support, healthcare, business, and more.

Advocacy

Top-down accountability. We ensure that communities and leaders have the data and support they need to advocate for the digital rights of all people and create policies that support those rights.

OUR SERVICES

Our team, partners, and collaborators all work together to reimagine local communities free of digital exclusion offering culturally supportive internet services to help people empower their future. Our services span a variety of technologies currently in 23 cities, across two regions, and on three proven platforms enabling people and communities access to digital services, training, and support to thrive.

moNET

moNET empowers people to own and operate infrastructure that provides free and affordable high-speed internet to under represented communities. Through last-mile wireless Citizen Band Radio Service (CBRS) and Wi-Fi, moNET creates open community access, digital inclusion zones, and in-home internet.

moDAT

moDAT provides users direct access to local digital literacy training services, free to affordable digital devices, internet subsidies, and onramps to other non-digital services and community assets that address food insecurity, healthcare, finance, childcare, and more.

moHEALTH

moHEALTH is a culturally customized digital health training and certification program with always-on tools to empower digital navigators to provide telehealth services to people in their communities who need it.

moDESK

moDESK offers an easy to use multi-lingual online support system for communities to access and navigate digital resources and services. Integrated into mohuman’s moDAT online digital inclusion platform, people can access live agents and their community digital navigators for assistance by chat, text, email, or phone.
